April had a lot of highs and lows.... We celebrated Easter Weekend with a quadruple birthday celebration (Sadie, Caleb, Nana, Avi) as well as Easter brunch at my parents. Then we went on our Spring Break trip, then threw Avi's birthday party at Bricks and Mini-figs (Lego Store) with 10 8-year old friends from school. We also enjoyed the Procession of the Species on a beautiful sunny day! Avi got an award at school and we were invited to the assembly! Meanwhile, Adam has been dealing with some health issues and spent 2 nights in the hospital (not pictured).
A different kind of rain
Spring Break 2026: Vancouver, Canada
We had a wonderful time in Vancouver, Canada. We stayed in a VRBO in Chinatown (the best food), explored the area, checked out UBC (Museum of Anthropology and their botanic garden), took a Aquabus to Granville Island, checked out multiple gardens, did Science Word, took a sky train, celebrated Avi's birthday, checked out tulips on the way up and stayed a night in Bellingham on the way down to see family!
