Wedding Prep
I literally walked out the door today to run errands with a list that said things like: 22 sticks of butter, 40 eggs, 15 packages of cream cheese, etc. Hannah and I are going to have a bake-a-thon this weekend in prep for the wedding. So much food to think about! Planning a 4 day wedding is a lot of work, but I'm sure it'll pay off.
Bachelorette Party Weekend in Packwood, WA
What a wonderful weekend! I was so touched by everyone coming and spending the weekend with me for my bachelorette party, which was complete with: margaritas from my margarita machine, lots of amazing food, lots of cards against humanity, hanging out in the hot tub, hiking and lots of penis-shaped food and straws. I really needed a weekend to just relax and this was perfect. (Adam was also on his bachelor party weekend at the same time). Now we are really really getting close to the wedding.
Thanks to Hannah for organizing this awesome weekend and everyone that came!
Crunch Time
Here are some pictures from our weekend when we were NOT working on our wedding- the rest of the weekend was spent: shopping, writing emails, making lists, doing math, organizing boxes, sewing and making phone calls. We have (almost) all of our RSVPs in and have started some of the grocery shopping. Things are coming together!
Wedding Flowers from Lynch Creek Farms, Shelton
I am totally copying Jenny- because her flowers were amazing- and ordering 150 dahlias from Lynch Creek Farms. We got to walk around the farm yesterday and pick out flowers that we liked- it was so hard to choose, all of the flowers were amazing! Another item checked off the wedding to-do list!
Jenny and John get married!!!
I am so happy for Jenny and John who finally tied the knot last weekend (after 11 years!) I was honored to be a part of their wedding- which turned out beautiful, even though there were thunder showers during the ceremony- it just made the moment more magical. It was also cool to see how everyone rallied and partied through the rain- setting up tarps and sitting through a rainy ceremony. As you can see, the morning was gorgeous and luckily we got a ton of great shots up at a view point of Mt. Rainer in the sunshine. I can't wait to see how those photos turned out.
