Halloween: Boo Bash

We got into the Halloween Spirit this weekend with a morning at the Children's Museum's Boo Bash!  I took the kids by myself (a little bit of a feat, but we managed) and they had a great time!

Girls' Weekend!

We had a much needed girls' weekend a couple weeks ago!  Hannah, Jenny, Callie and I rented the cabin we had Hannah's bachelorette weekend 7 years ago- in Rhododendron, OR near Mt.  Hood.  We took it easy, went up to Timberline Lodge for lunch and a short hike,did some soaking in the hot tub and sitting around the fire.  It was lovely and refreshing and we ate really good too!

BeeBee's Visit

We had a great visit from Bee Bee (Betsy) earlier this month!  We lucked out with some good weather and hit up Ashley Creek Farm/Pumpkin patch which is a nice relief after all the busy/crowded carnival type pumpkin patches.  Always great to spend time with Betsy!  

18 Months!

This little guy is 18 months old! He's talking so much and into everything!  Wants to do everything his sister is doing- he's SO busy, it's hard to even get a good photo of him!  Current favorites: being held by mom, watching the the toilet flush, finding and putting on hats, his sleep sack, his bottle, watching shows with sis, bath time, I am a Bunny book, throwing (rocks, balls, toys, etc.), sticks, running "racing" with Isla around the loop in the house, blue berries, waffles, dip-dip...

Current dislikes: mom leaving (the room, the house, etc.), taking off his sleep sack, getting his diaper changed, going in the car seat, being told "no", any separation from mom

Swim Lessons

I just had to share a picture of Isla at her swim lessons.  She's in evening weekly lessons through the Lacey Parks and Rec- which are at the High School down the street, she loves it and her teacher is just great!  It's a fun way to break up the week and a special Mom+Isla only activity.  

Salem Weekend

Had a great weekend in Salem with the kids!  We wore those kids OUT!  Both Isla and Avi slept the whole way home (3 hours) which never happens!  We did the farm, the Children's museum, multiple playgrounds and a new indoor play gym!  Plus going to pick Sadie up from Kindergarten!  (super cute)
