Mini Moon! Sequim, Washington (Compass Rose House)

Sunrise over the mountains

Dinner at Alder Wood Bistro
We had a awesome time on our "mini-moon" after the wedding.  Spent 2 nights in a beautiful rental cabin we found on VRBO and we barely left the house at all- only once to go out to a delicious dinner at the Alder Wood Bistro.  It was just what we needed after a very very busy summer and wedding.  We also lucked out and have beautiful weather.

Last Saturday

Grilled peaches and ice cream- a summer favorite!

harvest from the garden

It's official!
These were from a week ago- when it was still sunny- Adam and I babysat little Finn for an hour (he was awesome- no crying!) and did some work in the garden.  We got our marriage licenses so I have started the slow process of changing my last name to Stout- yesterday I went to the DMV and Tuesday the Social Security Office... so now it's just calling all  my accounts and updating my last name.
We are having a super rainy weekend so we have a fire going in the fireplace and plans for Pho for lunch! Sushi is not too happy about this "Fall" stuff, but I'm enjoying staying home and being cozy!

Getting Dressed and Ready!

And here is the last of my wedding photos- I'm hoping to get the actual photos by next weekend and hopefully some more will trickle in from friends and family.  It was actually hard for me to put my own camera down, but eventually I had to go get married!  Getting dressed with my girlfriends was fun- we had champagne and they all watched our "first look" photos (which couldn't have felt more awkward!)

Saturday Morning Before My Wedding

Hannah had to put the glaze on the flour less chocolate tortes

Hannah and I killed some time walking around the boardwalk in downtown Olympia before our hair and makeup appointments

I was a nervous wreck Saturday morning (I literally felt like I was going to throw up- I was SO nervous)!  However, things went great and exactly as planned: Hannah and I woke up at home, went downtown for our hair and makeup appointments- met my mom there, then went to the San Fransico St. Bakery to pick up the lemon tarts and swung by home to pick up the cheesecakes and chocolate tortes.  We got back to Millersylvania around 1:00 where I helped setting up for a little bit and then started getting dressed......
