Fall Hike
Last weekend we did a little research and found a hike to try out outside of Shelton (near Kennedy Creek- where I wanted to stop and see the salmon). It was called "Goldsborough Creek Trail" and we had the whole place to ourselves. Lovely short hike along a creek with a fish ladder. Ezra thoroughly enjoyed being off leash and we regretted not bringing rain boots as the train started to turn into a stream. I think we'll be back.
We also stopped by Kennedy Creek to see the salmon in their final stages of their life cycle. Always fascinating, what a journey!
Halloween 2016
We had a lovely Halloween- Isla was a garden gnome, since she loves our small collection of garden gnomes outside and I found it on amazon.... We went to Callie's for pre-trick or treat appetizers and then hit up the neighborhood. I love the photo progression of trying to get everyone to sit together! Trick or Treating was short and sweet (it was wet and rainy) but Isla didn't mind!

Children's Museum Play Date
Callie and I both had last Thursday off of work and too the kids to the Children's Museum! Always a fun time.
