Summer Fun!

Isla seems to always make a friend at the playground

It's been a great summer so far and I'm loving that we're not over-booked this year so we've had a lot of time to enjoy Olympia on the weekends!  Last weekend we did some playground time, a concert int he park in Lacey and swimming at Black Lake.  We also got to enjoy the Thurston County Fair Wednesday morning.  Off to the Oregon Coast tomorrow!

Isla insisted on bringing a bag of toys to "give to friends"... she tried- but her "friend" she made was confused and gave it right back.... pretty cute

Enjoying The Beatles cover band

This kid wants to sleep on his side now

A nice shady spot to chill at Black Lake (Kenneydale park)

making ice cream- a summer must!

Love this!  This is "Isla and Dada"- she drew one too many legs and insisted on erasing saying "I made a mistake!"

Big news! Avi is rolling over!

and writing emails!

Isla's been carrying around this laptop toy saying she's going to "work" like mom- then she set it up with mine saying we could work together- cute

Avi

This kid wants to roll over so badly- but he keeps getting stuck and MAD.  He is no longer super chill (that couldn't last forever) and now wants to sit up and be part of the action (at all times)!  But he couldn't be cuter!

Avi's not big enough for "go pod" but Isla got a kick out of it!

I took the day off of work for my birthday this  year and my mom and I took the kids to Northwest Trek!  A highlight was that some nice lady who parked next to us in the parking lot insisted on letting us in for free under her membership as guests!  The tram, playground and ice cream were other highlights but it was a little hot for animal sightings.  What a year it has been!

Salem Arts Festival/Birthday Weekend

The whole family (even Ezra) went down to Salem last weekend to check out the Salem Arts Festival and celebrate Hannah and my birthdays!  It was a hot weekend so the kids enjoyed the pool in the backyard and a spray park.  The festival was full of great art (too much to see) and activities for the kids. Hannah and I even got a night out for drinks and dinner while Seth and Adam put the kids to bed!
