National Day
Last Saturday was National Day (China's birthday) which is celebrated by closing public offices (it would of been a no school day had it not been on the weekend) and a big firework display downtown. We got there late so didn't have the best view, but it also wasn't insanely crowded as some of the more popular viewing places are.
