More Caves

We stopped by this National Volcanic area outside of Bend where we hiked around the top of a volcano and then through a lava tube.  This lava tube was much much easier than the Ape Caves- it had flat ground to hike on, but it didn't open up at the end so you just had to turn around.  I don't know if I'll ever get used to hiking in the pitch black with a head lamp, it's a bit of a creepy feeling.
