Priest Point with Ezra

Started out the weekend right with a nice walk around Priest Point Park yesterday.  Ezra's first time on a beach.  Loving this sunny weather!

First Big House Project: New Toilet

This new toilet marks the first big thing we've actually had to pay someone else to do.  I'm sure there will be plenty more projects to come..... Our toilet was a wall-mount and it was old, cracked and had a broken seat (new seats cost over $100 since it was a very specific toilet).  Now we have a regular floor mount and it's working great!

Yakima Canyon Hike

Had a great time stopping at the Yakima Canyon for a little hike with Ezra last weekend- she fell asleep instantly in the car when we were done!  Beautiful time of year and we got to see lots of beaver evidence!

Easter 2014: Easter Beer Hunt in Yakima!

Who knew Yakima could be so much fun?  We had a great time at Sean's family's annual Easter Beer Hunt!  They have an amazing piece of property in Yakima with an even more amazingly decorated barn!   Ezra enjoyed her first camping trip and running around with a bunch of other dogs! Festivities included hiding eggs and goodies (divided into zones: kid friend and adults only), searching for goodies (things went so FAST, I only found 1 thing), an amazing buffet, croquet and lots of fun outfits. 

New Farm and Garden Store

Hooray for the new store "Eastside Urban Farm and Garden" in Olympia!  We needed a store like this and it's so close.  Especially since it looks like we are adopting three chickens real soon!  It was hard not to take home a baby duck!
