Summer Solstice
Yesterday was the longest day of the year and Adam and I went outside a little after 9pm to watch the lightning storm and see the most amazing sunset and double rainbow! What a solstice!
Father's Day/Gay Pride Parade in Olympia
We celebrated Father's Day on Sunday by going to the Gay Pride Parade and then having my mom and dad over for dinner! It was a beautiful day! Happy 2nd father's day to Adam!
Basement Project

Adam has been working so hard on our basement re-model and it's nearly done! He (with Jack's help) added a wall to divide the basement and make the bathroom bigger (so he had to demo the previous- mini-bathroom). We installed a wood stove so now the basement is nice and cozy in the winter and helps keep the whole house warm! Then Adam has been working hard on finishing the bathroom (electric, lights, drywall, doors, tile, installing a toilet and sink, wains-coating, painting etc.) It's not done quite yet- we still plan to put our claw foot tub in, but it's a working bathroom and it's a major improvement! Some pictures of the process:
New Dishwasher
Boring news, but we finally replaced our old, old, old dishwasher when Temma and Dave were here (Dave helped)... Dave also helped us fix our shower so it's a normal height now.
Isla
Isla turned 13 months yesterday but we are done with our monthly photo shoot! I want to put these 12 shots in a frame but have to decide between the chair or the rug pictures. Any thoughts? She used to be such a little squirt! It's amazing how much she has changed in a year! The early months feel like a lifetime ago!
