Thanksgiving Weekend 2017

What a busy, busy weekend!!! We had so much fun having the Nickerson's here for the long weekend and hosting Thanksgiving dinner!  I also got to have an ultrasound on Friday and found out we're having a baby boy!! We're so excited! 

Santa Picture!

Look at my brave little girl sitting with Santa!  I bribed her with a cupcake to go take a picture with him.  She insisted she didn't want to sit on his lap so I promised she could just stand next to him.  But when she ran over to say "hi" he scooped her up into his lap!  We even got a half-smile! 

Trick-or-Treating 2017

Isla had a blast trick or treating with her buddies- Finn, Weston and Xavi this year!  Keeping up with the tradition of gathering at Callie and Nuri's then walking to the closest neighborhood.  Isla loved the knocking on the door, grabbing candy, all the decorations, being out at night, the costumes, etc.  She did so well and was out for probably an hour and a half! 

Chickens

It's been a while since I've done a chicken update...  Well, round #3 of chickens has been interesting!  Adam build a great enclosed area so we don't have to worry about predators as much and we're not letting them out in the yard. We started with 12 baby chicks and 5 of them turned out to be roosters!  (It's supposed to be a 10% chance).  We decided to keep 1 rooster, so now we have 6 hens and a rooster and the hens have been laying!  We're consistently getting 3 eggs a day!

Fall Fun

There's nothing better than a sunny fall day!  We've been trying to take advantage of the sunny weather we've been having and getting outside.  We just did Kennedy Creek Trail and a walk on the Western Chehalis Trail.  Enjoying all the colorful leaves on the ground!
