A different kind of rain: September 2019

Preschool

On nice days, most of Isla's preschool friends go to the park after school- such a sweet extra social time! Also, we just had our first field trip (Farmer's Market followed by playground). Loving seeing all of her friendships blossom! And Avi loves to tag along too!

6th Anniversary: Squidstock 2019

This year Adam and I got a babysitter for Ezra and took my kids over to my parents for a sleepover and got to go to Squidstock WITHOUT kids! It was our 2nd year- the vibe is great, basically feels like a party at someone's house, which is basically is, and the music is hit and miss, but we had fun!

First day of preschool

Isla started her first day of her 2nd year of preschool- same teacher and mostly the same kids- she was the first one awake and super super hyper about going back! We did have a fight about her outfit (we compromised)... So far, so good. She's going 4 days a week instead of 2 this year!

Last week of Summer!

Avi watches shows now, you don't even know how great this is!

What a good summer it was! I took the last week of summer off and boy did we keep busy- despite everyone getting sick! Isla finished up swim lessons and we went to the Zoo to celebrate my dad's birthday, plus some day-trips to Maple Valley (Elkwood) and Seattle, and a couple birthday parties throw in there too! It's sad to be done with summer, but I'm feeling good about the beginning of the Fall and getting back to preschool!
