We had a wonderful visit with Betsy late September and she even watched the kids for us overnight so Adam and I could have an overnight getaway (and celebrate our anniversary late) in Ocean Shores. It's been the driest Fall ever- making for really nice weather! The salmon are so much fun to watch at Tumwater Falls.
September!
September is BUSY! Isla and I started back up at school-

Labor Day Weekend: Nickerson Visit
A spontaneous visit from the Nickerson's for Labor Day turned into a beautiful weekend. We hit up the "Harbor Days" festival in downtown Olympia and made it to the Ape Caves in Mt. St. Helens, WA (hiking through a lava tube- always cool!)
Avi's last/first days of preschool
Avi's preschool teacher, Ms. Lucy, retired at the end of the summer. She put together a "graduation/goodbye" ceremony for the kids- which was adorable. The next week he started his new preschool at The Evergreen State College, so far so good!
