August was good to us!
It's always bittersweet when the summer comes to an end. I think we were all ready to get back to a routine. We soaked in the end of summer with friends, camps and activities.
Jack and crew came for 2 nights and it was such a highlight of the summer! Kids got along so well and we did a bunch of Olympia summer classics!
Another highlight: Deschutes River Fun! Wish I had made it out here more this summer, we had the spot to ourselves, water was a perfect temp and the river is one of the cleaner swim spots in the area
Isla took a week long sailing camp for year 2
Avi took a lego camp (but apparently puzzled most of the time)
We checked out the Centralia Country Fair (and Monster Truck Rally)
Our final camping trick got rained out so we pivoted to The Anderson School in Bothell
(indoor swimming pool and cool Tiki Bar)
Stopped at the Bellevue Botanical Gardens on the way home- now I want to go back!
And some fun hanging out at Finn and Weston's
We said goodbye to CoCo- she is in a new home with a retired couple (who love bunnies) living her best life as an indoor rabbit
August also brought a lot of gardening projects
