We flew into Maine on June 29th and stayed until July 10th. I planned the trip around being on Peaks Island for 4th of of July and it did not disappoint. Betsy hosted a family party and there was a golf cart parade and fire works and an epic lemonade stand (one of many). Peaks Island is dreamy and adorable and we loved Betsy and David's new house and spending time at the beach (steps from the new place). Then we drove up to Papa Harry's place and celebrated his birthday with a full day on a gorgeous lake (right next to the Appalachian Trail) not a sole in sight. Very relaxing! Wrapped up our trip with some time in Portland and hanging out at Temma's place and watching my newphew, Eamonn, play (pitch!) baseball!
