Thurston Count Fair

We headed out on a grey/rainy Sunday to enjoy the Thurston County Fair with all the cousins and my parents.  Everyone had a great time and especially enjoyed petting the animals!   It totally brings back 4-H memories to see the kids showing their animals and we even got to watch a little "Round Robin" which was cute.

Summer

Just some pictures of our garden and Isla... I love the way babies sleep with their butts in the air.  So cute.

Apple Pressing Party

We hosted our 2nd annual apple-pressing party on Saturday and it was a success!  8 hours of pressing (picking, chopping, food processing, squeezing, straining) apples!  We are making 15 gallons of hard apple cider and a bunch more regular cider.  Lots of kids running around this year too!

Summer Days....

Isla and I have been enjoying the summer!  We spent a couple mornings at the children's museum and over the weekend checked out the "Mushroom Festival" in town.  The weather has been getting pretty nice!
