Half way done with the first stretch.....

Today marks the half way point between when I arrived and when I'm coming home for Christmas.  8 weeks down and 8 more to go.  Not that I'm obsessively counting or anything (ok I am) It's hard not to. 
Last night I had a dream that I have a lot where the house I'm in has all these hidden nooks and crannies that turn into more rooms and things I didn't know were there.  In my dream last night, my apartment all of a sudden had 2 or 3 more rooms (one of which was filled with camping supplies and boxes of some one else's stuff).  And I realized my apartment building had a pool and a big communal yard. 
Anyways, my apartment is small, but I like it. It would be nice to have some outdoor space or even a balcony.  The apartment does have a roof top that I can go up to, but there's not much room and it's not that cool to hang out at.
I did some exploring around my neighborhood today and ended up at the park and zoological garden today.  I live right below Hong Kong University and I tried to explore their campus but didn't come across anything interesting.  I should try again some time.
