Hanging out at the mall....




The new (and only) apple store in Hong Kong, apparently this is a BIG deal.  People waited in line for hours (or days?) to get in when it opened.


I don't think I've mentioned how into malls Hong Kongers are.  There are malls everywhere and you are often "forced" into malls just to get from point A to B.  The malls are alive and thriving and (now) decorated for Christmas.  I had  relaxing day today, did some shopping and saw a movie at the mall.  I watched 50/50 which is set in Seattle, so that made it pretty fun to see.  Good movie.

    If all the other malls are as nice as this one, I'm amazed. It is quite beautiful.

    Yes, most of the malls are really fancy. Lots of designer stores that I would never even dream of shopping in. They also have fancy (public) bathrooms at the mall!
