Dinner at Tugboat Annies

When Kris and Lara were visiting we took a trip out to the Organic Farm at Evergreen.  Apparently this is actually where Kris and Lara met AND they have just started farming in Illinois!  They have a small plot of land and are growing organic veggies to sell at farmer's markets and to a local restaurant.  The plan is to make it a bigger scale operation and start raising meat as well.  I was so impressed with them- both working full time, raising 2 kids (and another on the way!) and farming on top of it!
