Butterflies

Science at home!  We bought a butterfly kit off Amazon and watched the teeny tiny caterpillars grow, build cocoons and then hatch into butterflies.  The whole process took over a month and we finally let our little butterflies go yesterday in the garden.  

Quarantine Update

Today marks day 42 of quarantine.  I haven't  been to any stores at all (had everything delivered).  We've been on 2 walks on the trail, but even that is getting too busy with the nice weather.  We've been on some drives. We've had a few visitors who have maintained 6 feet distance and stayed outside.  Other than that, it's just lots of hanging out in the yard and inside.  The kids are getting used to the routine.  Isla is doing more chores.  Avi is rocking  the potty training this week! We're focused on our garden and have started a bunch of things from seeds.  The baby chicks are growing.  Lots of Zoom hang outs and today I will start my first telehealth session with a client. Having a hard time wrapping my head around what things will look like in 1, 2, 6 months from now.

This kid!  He just had his FIRST night in a big boy bed, last night, it went great- he's doing awesome with potty training, and we got rid of all bottles and his high chair.  Someone is a big boy now!!!

Easter 2020

We made the best out of Easter this year and it was a beautiful day for an egg hunt. My parents came over to watch from the other side of the fence (maintaining social distancing) and the kids found tons of eggs, played with bubbles and got Easter baskets in the morning!

Avi turns 2

This sweet boy just turned TWO!  We had the best stay at home day- beautiful weather, hot tub fun, tractor rides, hanging out in the yard! Plus cupcakes and candles and video calls with family!
