Getting gas in Olympia- we left at 6am
Road trip day one:
Olympia to Missoula, MT (stayed in a KOA)
Road trip day two:
Yellowstone National Park (camped in the park)
Road trip day three:
Grand Tetons National Park (camped in the park)
Yellowstone!
We love Yellowstone and couldn't wait to share it with the kids. It was crowded! Hard to find parking, traffic, etc. but we saw all the cool sites + a herd of bison and the campground was lovely!
Plus we caught the Grand Prismatic Springs at sunset- so beautiful!
Grand Tetons National Park: way less crowded (and a different type of crowd all together), beautiful, nice camp ground but the mosquitos were SOOO bad. Gorgeous sunset over the mountains!
