Pickathon Day 1

packing up
This year was my 5th Pickathon (Hannah and Seth's 6th).  Since Hannah and Seth always volunteer (in exchange for weekend tickets) I got babysitting duty Saturday and Sunday morning! It was definately a different pace this year having Sadie with us but it couldn't have gone better.  She loves camping (ie. hanging out in the tent) and she was such a good sport about everything.  She probably won't be getting easier any time soon, so it was a good year to take her. One of the things I love about Pickathon is the family vibe.  It is super kid-friendly and there are always packs of kids running around the whole weekend enjoying a little bit of freedom while their parents have fun (everyone seems to just write their cell phone #s on their kid's bracelets).  Pickathon also has amazing food, great music and the camping makes the weekend so relaxing.

And so the mad dash to get a good camping spot begins (it's first come first served and you can pay extra to get in the day before, which we did not)

Spot found... phew!
