Welcome Baby Caleb!!!

Baby Caleb arrived over 5 weeks early, but he and Hannah are both home and doing great.  Hannah ended up in the hospital for the second time with some bleeding related to placenta previa Wednesday night (March 11th) and her doctor decided to do an emergency c-section the next day.  So Caleb came into the world on March 12th (instead of March 31st the scheduled c-section date or April 19th his actual due date).  Luckily, he was a healthy 6 pounds and only had to stay in the NICU for 1 week until he had gained some weight and was strong enough to ride in a car seat.

I got to watch this sweetie pie while Hannah and Seth were in the hospital for a night until my parents took over and I left for Costa Rica.  When I got back I also stuck around for a couple days to help out as Hannah is not allowed to lift Sadie yet.  She is not sure what to think about the new addition to the family!  Caleb is so precious and little and just wants to sleep and sleep and sleep.  They have to wake him up every 3 hours to feed so everyone is a bit tired!   In other news, Sadie turned 1 on March 17th, and although her party was cancelled, she got to have a couple smaller celebrations with family.  AND she is finally crawling!

Baby Shower!

Last weekend was my baby shower and it was really wonderful!  We had perfect weather and it was great to be downtown on the boardwalk with a view of the water and mountains at the Harbor House.    It was great to be surrounded by so many friends and family and babies/kids!  Sadly, Hannah could not make it as she was put on 3 days of bed rest at the hospital due to pregnancy complications (she and baby are doing fine!)

Morels!

Adam planted some asparagus and blueberries in our garden this weekend and I spotted these morels growing in our garden!!!  They apparently liked the cardboard mulch and compost we put down.  Now we're going to watch them get bigger before we pick them!  Pretty lucky!

Also, I'm feeling HUGE.  30 weeks tomorrow!
