Laurel Builds an Artists Studio in our Shop!

Our good friend Laurel was looking for a space to move her artist studio and we have a huge shop that doesn't get fully utilized and this idea came together! Laurel and her brother and husband started construction after Christmas and it's finally move in ready!

Spring!

Loving these apple blossoms! I didn't get a picture last year and regretted it. Spring is super exciting around here, especially since we put so much work into the gardens last Spring!

Nursery Finished!

36 weeks!

I hit 36 weeks on Wednesday and had a good visit to my midwives. Isla is head down, which is great! We put the finishing touches up in the nursery so it is ready to go. If I didn't have SO MUCH work to do for my job right now, I'd say bring on this baby! But she better hold out for a little bit longer until I wrap up all my work stuff!!! I, however, am feeling huge and uncomfortable and ready to not be pregnant anymore.

Baby Chicks!

Our baby chicks arrived yesterday! They were shipped out from Ohio or somewhere and the post office called us in the morning to come pick them up. All of them alive, although 1 died this morning, we were pretty sure she wasn't going to make it. The rest are happy and healthy! And super cute. Adam set up a box in the basement with a heat lamp and they are busy eating, drinking and sleeping in a big huddle! They will live inside for at least a month.

I got to be around when Hannah's newborn photographer came to the house about a week after Caleb was born to take these beautiful photos! Sadie wasn't so sure about being posed with her brother....

Portland Visit: Sadie and Caleb

I spent a couple nights in Portland this week to spend time with Hannah and the kids before I'm too pregnant to go down there! Caleb is filling out and getting stronger! Sadie is learning SO fast and crawling all over the place!
