Visiting Seattle
Last week I drove up to visit with Julia, Alex and Kristin in Seattle and got to see Julia and Alex's awesome new rental house! It was a quick visit but great to catch up!
Salem Visit: walk to park
Had a great time in Salem over the last week. I took a week off work and got to explore Salem with Hannah and the kids. I love her house so much and the neighborhood couldn't be cuter! They live very close to this great big park which we went to right away. I brought Ezra with me and Adam took the train down half way through the week. I was planning on staying until Saturday but this storm threat spooked us and we left yesterday (Friday). Wanted to get some pictures posted before the power might go out today. The trip was a lot of fun, but unfortunate I caught that darn cold going around and was sick for part of it- Caleb had a runny nose when I left (sorry buddy!) I really liked Salem and can't wait to explore it more. We hit all the major spots, but I feel like I barely scratched the surface of the city. Their house is so cozy and nice to stay in (a guest room!). I'm sure we'll be back soon!

Grandma BeeBee's Visit
Adam's mom was here for 5 days and we had a great time with her! We did a lot of walks, going out to lunch and hanging around Olympia- she even babysat so Adam and I could have a date night! The highlight was going to Northwest Trek on Sunday- they have a new playground that Isla LOVED. It was fun to see the animals too! I hadn't been there in years, but I'm sure we'll be taking Isla regularly.
