Summer Fun with Friends

On Saturday Isla and I met up with some friends and walked down to the beach at Burfoot Park.  The weather and tide cooperated and it was really fun. Then we headed over to Callie's for a BBQ.  I just love summer weekends so much. The days seem to stretch on and on there's so much to do!

4th of July BBQ

After getting back from camping we headed over to Greg's for a 4th of July BBQ- which I didn't get very many pictures of, but Isla enjoyed saying "hi" to the goats and eating chips :)

4th of July Weekend Camping: LL Stub Steward State Park, OR

What a fun time we had last weekend with the Nickerson's camping at a state park outside of Portland.  We went to Cannon Beach for the day (about an hour away) and the kids loved it.  Besides some trouble sleeping, everyone did pretty well.  I got to sleep in our new tent for the first time (Adam and Isla already broke it in while I was in Denver)!

Staying Cool!

We had quite the heat wave last weekend so we stayed cool by going to Tolmie (again) and playing in the water, setting up (multiple) kiddie pools around the yard and Adam installed an air conditioner in my upstairs office!! Loving summer so far!

MaryLou Visits!

My aunt MaryLou came all the way from Ohio a couple weeks ago for a visit- she stayed half with Hannah and Seth and half with us and we had a great time.  She came right before our heat wave so the weather was just perfect.  On my day off we went to Tolmie State Park and played in the water.  It was great to see her!
