Salem Weekend

I took the kids to Salem over the weekend and we had a ton of fun!  We did the "Giant Pumpkin Regatta" (boat races made out of giant pumpkins), a couple playgrounds and the Oregon Gardens.  Plus we spent a lot of time trying to get a picture of the 4 cousins! And the kids played a lot of "PJ Masks" although Sadie and Caleb haven't seen the show yet, they got the idea :)

Last weekend we checked out a new playground in Olympia (Margaret McKenny) and tried our luck at mushroom picking at our usual spot, however, it was not a good day (or maybe a bad year?) because we only found one!  Loving this sunny fall weather!

The Schuits Visit

Our friends from Peak's Island came for a visit last week- Aaron and Kelly live on Peaks with their 2 kids and Aaron's brother and fiance live in Portland, OR and just had a baby so we got to meet baby Jules! Isla had a blast!

Preschool Field Trip: Lattins

Isla's preschool took a field trip to Lattins on Wednesday and the whole family was able to go!  We had nice weather and everyone enjoyed the sun, doughnuts, tractor ride and feeding the animals!

6 months!

Phew!  I've been a little behind on blogging lately- but here's to 6 months!!  Our little guy is growing and growing!  He can roll across the room, is starting to gnaw on some solid foods, can grab his feet all day long and his new tricks are sticking out his tongue and making a long gasping happy sound (both are pretty cute).
