The Stouts Survive the Wind Storm

What a couple of big wind storms we've had lately.  It is really scary over at our house, we are surrounded by HUGE trees and our first tree fell down this year!  The top half snapped off and luckily missed our shop and didn't do any damage.

This is the base of the tree that snapped off

Isla eats food!

At our 6-month check up for Isla, her pediatrician recommended we start "baby-led weaning" which is basically giving her big chunks of food and letting her feed herself.  She's a FAN!  Her mom, on the other hand, is a worried-mess, but I'm getting more comfortable and she's been doing a good job figuring food out!

Happy Hanukkah!

We didn't really celebrate Hanukkah this year, but Adam's mom sent a new menorah, which we remembered to light all of one night!  Maybe next year....!

Visiting North New Portland (Adam's Dad's)

We spent a couple nights in North New Portland (2 hours from Portland) to visit with Harry and Donna.  (We always stop at Renys on the way up).  It was COLD but sunny and fun to see the pond frozen over.  Adam spent the day helping his dad with a project so Isla and I kept warn by the fire inside!

Meeting Ranger!

We got to meeting little Ranger- Jen and Ben's 5 month old little boy on our way up north to visit Adam's dad!  He is SO cute and Isla and him had fun rolling around together!  So many babies were born this spring!

Family Time

We had all 4 of Betsy (Adam's mom) and David's grand kids together for Thanksgiving!  Eamonn followed Miles around everywhere.  On Saturday Mary's daughters came to visit, bringing 2 more kids so basically there were a lot of kids running (or biking) around!  Can't wait for Isla to be one of the kids running around!

Thanksgiving 2015

What a celebration!  We had a gathering of 24 adults and 4 kids at Adam's mom's house on Peaks Island for Thanksgiving.  Most everyone stayed the night or a couple nights, so it was a busy couple of days!  Amazing food and appetizers!  I'm so glad we came for Thanksgiving this year so everyone could meet Isla while she's still little (and EASY- she was so easy on this trip!).
