Portland Quick Visits

We stopped by to see Hannah and the kids both on our way down to Waldport and on our way back up.  Monday afternoon was super hot so the kids went in the pool!  Wish we could have hung out longer, but we timed the drives by Isla's naps.

Beach Vacation

We had a wonderful time on our little weekend-getaway trip to Waldport (near New Port) on the Oregon coast.  We rented a house on vrbo which was just perfect and allowed dogs (and was surprisingly pretty child proof too).  It was a short walk to the beach- which felt like we had all to ourselves.  Isla loved the sand and Ezra loved being able to run around freely. We tried our lucky with razor clamming but didn't find anything... Sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine (after Isla went down) and watching the sunset was definitely a highlight.  We also checked out the New Port Aquarium which was pretty cool.
