Visit with Bee-Bee and Dee-Dee

We had a great visit with Adam's mom and her husband over the last week.  The weather wasn't great but we took advantage of the sun breaks.  We went to Wolf Haven (I sent probably 12 years ago?) and had a great time.  Isla got kinda bored, not great for kids- so she played with my camera for a while and then my phone. There is a nice short prairie walk there as well with some Mima mounds.

The impossible puzzle!

Beach and Chickens!

Rosemary and Isla had a fun play date to Priest Point (and got super muddy) last week.  We also got our baby chicks on Friday!  All 12 of them are doing great!

Weekend Fun

What a nice weekend it was!! We took a walk down to Priest Point during low tide, went shopping for plants at Bark and Garden, did a bunch of yard work (I learned to weed whack!), went to Finn's first birthday party at Yauger Park, played in the yard and picked up a new kitchen/play house set from a coworker (for Isla's birthday present).  Loving this weather!

Lately....

New goat (Greg's), new tent (Adam's), new chicken coop area and a walk to Woodard Bay.  Yay Spring!

Arts Walk 2017

In true Olympia fashion, it rained for the Procession of the Species this year- but it didn't stop all the kids from having fun and the Procession always warms my heart to see our community gather together!   Laurel's gallery that she shows at (Splash) had demonstrations outside and hosted the "cover artist" of this Spring's Arts Walk.
