Memorial Day Camping 2019

For our 3rd (4th?) year, the family participated in our friends' camping on their family property in Maple Valley, fondly named "Elkwood"- it's a whole bunch of families with young kids, communal cookout meals, work projects, horse back riding and this year- lots of mud!  The kids had a blast!  Ezra was so tired she slept for 2 days straight afterwards.  Avi and I cheated and stayed in a hotel, but Isla and Adam camped out!

Birthday Party Weekend Fun!

A couple weekends ago we had 2 birthday parties to go to- I think this may be the new normal- plus I wanted to take the kids to the Lacey Fun Fair- so it was a busy and fun weekend!

Mother's Day 2019!

We had a beautiful sunny day for Mother's Day and Adam's mom and her husband visiting this year- so we headed to the Monarch Sculpture Park out in Tenino area- this place closed down for a few years and just re-opened- I'm so glad it did!  A great place for a picnic and to spend a couple hours wandering!  It was a great mother's day!
