I've cut my work hours in half due to Covid. I am not only working about 2 days out of the house (+ telework at home), so I have a lot more time to take these kids out and explore. We just did Tolmie State Park last week and Evergreen beach last weekend. So lucky to live in such a beautiful place!
4th of July 2020
It was a quieter 4th of July this year, but we celebrated nonetheless! Afternoon bike ride and then strawberry short cake and staying up late to watch fireworks!
Weekend happenings
Ezra had a play date with her best friend Neko over the weekend and then 2 neighbors offered up cherries! (One was selling bulk cherries she brought from eastern Washington and the other had sour cherries ready to be picked). We are borrowing a cherry- pitter and getting everything ready to freeze!
Mid summer garden update
It's definitely our best year yet. Things are just getting going but we're eating lettuce, zucchini, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, plums and cherries already!
Getting out in the times of Covid
So we've been getting out more and it feels great! Isla is rocking her mask like a champ! We've been to a few outdoor places for walks, etc. Our world is slowly expanding and it's good.
