Teaching Chinese
One of the more interesting things we are doing is teaching the boys Chinese stroke order. The boys have several different Chinese tutors and teachers who help us by deciding which vocabulary to teach and then writing the stroke order with numbers on flashcards. We say the English word (if there is one) and the boys say the English and Chinese word and then write the character in the correct order. Each line must be written in the right order. At first this was SUPER confusing but I'm getting the hang of it. Chinese is an intense language to learn and it's good the boys are starting so young. (They also speak Hindi fluently- so they are tri-lingual).
