October... we had some beautiful crisp fall days then it just turned to sloshy rainy, don't go outside days! But we snuck in an overnight to Mt. St. Helen's area and did the Ape Caves hike (harder side, took a couple hours, hiking in the dark!). Avi loved it! (Isla not so much) It was a good adventure and the kids aren't going to forget it! I've been settling into my new job and enjoying all the walking in the woods and around campus I get to do (including mushroom hunting on campus after work) - Also took the whole family (plus friends) to the No Kings Rally in Olympia! And suffered through a completely wet Halloween night!
